Monday Prayer Quest

Let’s put God first in our work week!

Every Monday Waypoint

Church will be opening their sanctuary from 5:30-8:00 a.m.

Do you want to see a fresh awakening of the Sprit of God in our KP community? Do you want to join with others that are passionate enough to do something about it? There are many who desire there be an opportunity for people to start their week off in prayer. Not just personal prayer but corporate prayer with others from our community churches! It is starting with people from a number of different churches meeting together on the Key Peninsula. Waypoint church has graciously opened their sanctuary for prayer every Monday morning. Prayer will begin at 5:30 am and end at 8:00am. About every half and hour one host will lead the group present in corporate prayer. Can you think of a better way to start your Monday or work week here on the Key Peninsula? We encourage everyone who can make it to come out and pray for as long as you like before you head for work while enjoying hot fresh coffee in fellowship.

Answered Prayer!

We know God answers prayer! Sometimes the answer is yes, sometimes no, and sometimes wait. We give God glory for all those answers because we know that He loves us and will answer our prayer according to His will! This little section is a place for us to bring Him glory for the answers He gives!

Prayer Team

The Prayer Team is a group of people who will commit to praying one hour each week the following;

the Wellspring Fellowship Prayer Letter. This letter will have all the requests submitted through the web site as well as prayer cards filled out at church or called in to the pastor.
the 7 for heaven cards and the lost of our community.
Be available to be contacted for special urgent prayer that might come up in peoples lives.

You will be asked to make this commitment only for one quarter. You can sign up as many times as you want, but we want to reaffirm you our committments on a quarterly basis so that we are sure we are living into them.

Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith with make them well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

We need the encouragement that comes when we pray for each other. It is also the most powerful action we can take. If you are in need of prayer please give us the privilege of praying for you! And be sure and let us know of how God is answering those prayers!
